Students swarm into the health center for flu treatment

During the last four weeks, Mississippi State University has been hit by a wave of illnesses such as influenza and strep throat. Students are flooding into the Longest Student Health Center to receive treatment for their illnesses. Health center director Robert Cadenhead said last year's peak flu season brought 147 cases to the health center within a time period of six weeks. (0) comments

States conduct 'super' caucuses
This year's Super Tuesday projected to be biggest yet

Super Tuesday marks a record in the history of U.S. politics as the day in which the largest number of U.S. presidential primary elections are held simultaneously. Twenty-four states and American Samoa will hold primary elections or caucuses today. While Mississippi is not one of those states, bordering states Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas will hold their primary elections. (0) comments
