Spring Fever gets the Blues
Music acts for April 14 campus concert include Blues Traveler, Yung Joc, Ingram Hill and country star Steve Azar

Jam band Blues Traveler is scheduled to headline Spring Fever along with rapper Yung Joc and Mississippi rockers Ingram Hill. Other acts include Chase McGinnis, Steve Azar and local band Foxchase Drive. The concert will be sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, Music Makers and the Student Association and will take place April 14 on the Mississippi State campus. (0) comments

Mississippi State University recently approved a new honor code designed to push students and faculty members to a higher standard of conduct both in and out of the classroom. Senior Dietric Slater, a starting player for the Mississippi State men's basketball team, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor on March 14. According to a report from the Starkville Daily News, Slater was pulled over that afternoon for not wearing his seat belt. (0) comments

Local law enforcement may soon have the power to enforce beer and liquor laws on Mississippi State's campus, according to a bill proposed by Sen. Tommy Robertson.
