Bipartisanship is an interesting concept. It's one of those respected sorts of things politicians like to tout. (0) comments

The word "change" has been thrown around like a rag doll this election cycle. Democratic nominee Barack Obama made it the theme of his campaign during the primaries and was eventually joined by others, including the Republican nominee John McCain in campaigning for it. There isn't any question Obama got this right. However, change can be either negative or positive. (11) comments

Hundreds of people sat on their blankets and lawn chairs in the Grove at the University of Mississippi in anticipation of the presidential debate. There was an air of excitement and uncertainty when the clock struck 8 p.m. in Oxford as no one knew what to expect. (0) comments

With this election there are many questions related to how the presidential candidates feel about global warming and its future effects on the United States. When John McCain is asked about global warming, he usually responds with something like, "I will clean up the planet; I will make global warming a priority." Barack Obama likes the phrase "I will clean up the planet." And Tina Fey as Sarah Palin says it's just God hugging us closer. So if this is such an important stance for presidents to be confident about, why do people say global warming's not true? Even if it isn't true, it's not bad if people are more environmentally friendly. (0) comments

I feel bad. I made an egregious error last week. Like all of the comments on The Reflector Web site pointed out, I shouldn't have said that cross country isn't a sport before actually trying it myself. (13) comments
