MSU runners prepare for season

As the first meet of the season approaches, the Mississippi State cross country team is working hard to improve on last year's results. The team will attend its first invitational of the season in Sewanee, Tenn on Sept. 6. "This will be our warm up meet," senior Robert Scribner said. (0) comments

MSU students found hockey club, have high expectations

In spite of Mississippi's warm temperatures and lack of year-round ice rinks, three Mississippi State students have created MSU's first ice hockey team. In September 2007, Patrick Swartz, Alex Palmer and Michael Miller heard about the ice hockey club team started at the University of Alabama and wanted to do the same for MSU, Swartz said. New-look volleyball team expects successful year

The Mississippi State volleyball Bulldogs will enter the 2008 season having already set a school record before setting foot on any court. The team's nine-player freshman class marks the largest the team has ever had. As a result, things are going to look a little different this season regarding the MSU volleyball program. (0) comments

The Mississippi State Bulldogs enter the 2008 season with high expectations, coming off a head-turning 2007 season which saw them finish 8-5 (4-4 SEC) with a Liberty Bowl win over Central Florida. 'Dogs kick off season with win

Stifling defense and a first-half offensive explosion lifted the Mississippi State soccer team to a season opening 3-0 win over Mississippi Valley State on Friday. A standing-room-only crowd of 673 was on hand, marking the third-largest crowd in MSU soccer history. (0) comments
