Seven years ago, I remember first hearing Flick at an honors forum shortly before the basketball season started. I remember how much his voiced annoyed most everyone and did sound like "fingernails on a chalkboard." When I went to my first MSU game, I was dismayed to find out he was the announcer. He lacked creativity and was not engaging to the crowd. Only the style of our play and Rick's Rowdies keep things interesting. It's about time he was replaced so that we can get an SEC worthy announcer.
