Does the above poster know Jamont well enough to make the NBA decision for him?
Hansbrough is extremely replaceable. If you can't be the best basketball player you can be in the SEC playing 33 minutes per game then you are going to have problems your whole life.
Who cares what Gene Hansbrough got to say anyway? You've got one tough son, Gene, and it looks like you are fostering a loser in the other one.

Good Riddance.. Seems like a selfish reason, no such thing as loyalty anymore. You can practice anywhere Ben. I think our problem of people transferring is something everyone sees, except I would like to know if there is a common thread. They all seem to leave for different reasons. Go to Mizzou, we sure won't be letting you stay in the SEC, so good luck on your selfish endeavor, but, I seriously doubt you will get better somewhere else than you would here.

Dear Ben and Gene:
Ben, you are not the caliber of player that your brother Tyler is and Gene, I do not believe that he ever will be. If you think that by moving that you will magically become NBA material, then I really think that you need a good dose of reality. Ben, your reasons for leaving are probably based on the outstanding success of your brother and the fact that your success has not been as great. Well, your success will probably not equal that of your brother's and being at MSU or any other school will not change that. If practice facilities are your problem then it is possibly a fabricated problem as I do not believe that you do not have opportunities to practice wherever you want. This is possibly your excuse to Gene for not being as successful as your brother. Well anyway, this falls under the heading of not very believable, but if you feel this way then it is for your self interest to move on. We certainly wish you the best and hope that 24/7/365 designated practice facilities will improve your game. Good luck, Gene, hope you can get another NBA star.

Its that whole practice facility thing. If he just would have had that, Everyone would be talking about Ben hanbrough and Tyler would be known as his big brother who just wasnt as good as his little bro.
