MSU students found hockey club, have high expectations
Abstract:
In spite of Mississippi's warm temperatures and lack of year-round ice rinks, three Mississippi State students have created MSU's first ice hockey team. In September 2007, Patrick Swartz, Alex Palmer and Michael Miller heard about the ice hockey club team started at the University of Alabama and wanted to do the same for MSU, Swartz said....

I'm not old enough yet to tryout im only 14 but when i heard about the MSU hockey team i was so happy i have to travel to Memphis to practice but its worth and im hoping that ill get to tryout in a few years LETS GO DAWGS!!!!!

this is awesome! I live in Colorado now where hockey is a HUGE deal amongst college teams. Now I have a college hockey team of my own to root for. Go Dawgs!!
